This evening will feature a staged performance of Hector Berlioz's song cycle, Les Nuits d'Eté. This will be directed by award-winning young American director Thaddeus Strassberger  and designed by Madeleine Boyd, who brilliantly designed our last year's production of Partenope.

Part of the performance will include a promenade in the magnificent gardens of the Villa.

Taking part are two of Wales leading singers, David Kempster ( (previously Scarpia - middle photo - and Rigoletto at the Festival as well as appearing in 10th anniversary concert) and Sarah-Jane Davies  (recently acclaimed for her performance as Pamina in the English National Opera's production of The Magic Flute). The performance will also include tenor Ben Johnson (bottom photo) 2008 winner of the Kathleen Ferrier Prize.
