Applying
If you are interested in participating
in the Festival and you can meet the above criteria, we would
very much like to hear from you. Please
send us your CV.
Applications should be made in October
but no later than the
end of November
each year (for the following August), although late applications may be
worth making as occasionally spaces for Festival Assistants
become available as late as July. You will usually
required to attend an interview in London.
Priority is usually given to applicants
willing to give a two year
commitment from Festival Assistants (most usually want to
come back!) as the experience makes you very useful in
the second year. For the same reason an Administrative Assistant
has often
worked for us as a Festival Assistant in the previous season.
Past assistants have found that the
experience gained during the Festival has been a beneficial
addition to their CV.
For those chosen, we will normally pay
for travel to Nice and will provide accommodation /
living expenses.
Singing Opportunities
Most of our productions are
provided by
Diva Opera and only one production
each season is produced
by the Festival itself. We very rarely employ singers who are
not already known to us. We therefore are unlikely to respond to
CVs etc sent to us unless you meet the criteria of our
Young
Artists Programme. |
